遠近法の誕生が視覚を制度化したようには、聴覚は限定されることはなかった。 聴覚はそれ自体アクソメトリックで、キ ュービスティックなものかもしれない。 音を聴くとは何か。それはもしかすると空間を聴くことであり、空間の経験そのものではないか。 音楽は単に時系列で推移していく振動の変化ではなく、認知に空間的な知覚を呼び起こすことである。 音と空間の交錯の可能性をサイバースペース上に発見する。

Sound has never been limited in the way that the birth of perspective systemized vision. The sense of sound itself may be axiomatic and cubistic. What is it to hear a sound? It may be the hearing of space,or the experience of space itself. Music is not simply a temporal arrangement of changes in vibration,but the making aware of spacial sense. We discover the possibilities of the intertwining of sound and space in cyberspace.
